The University of Sussex is in Brighton, a seaside town on the South coast of England, about one hour train journey from central London. Brighton is famous for its sparkling nightlife, beautiful architecture, quaint cobbled shopping streets, and award-winning restaurants. It is the home to the country’s only Green Party MP, and is widely seen as the unofficial ‘gay capital’ of the UK. Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club was promoted to the UK premiership in 2017, and has its 30,000 seat stadium next door to the University of Sussex.
